How it works
- Create a free dealer account. Add your dealership name, address, and hours to your profile.
- Post your vehicles. Photos, price, mileage, VIN — the details buyers filter on.
- Take enquiries. Buyers call or message you; mark each vehicle sold when it’s gone.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost for a dealer to list?
Nothing. Listing vehicles on SearchCars.ca is free for dealers, with no per-listing fee and no commission on sales. We may add optional paid promotion later, but standard listings stay free.
Can I list my whole inventory?
Yes. There’s no cap on the number of vehicles a dealer account can list. Each gets its own page and appears on your dealer profile.
Do buyers see my email address?
No. Buyers contact you through on-platform messaging, which keeps your email private, and you can also display a click-to-call phone number on your listings.
Do you support inventory feeds or bulk upload?
Not yet — today listings are added through the dashboard. A dealer inventory feed is on the roadmap; if you have a feed from your DMS, get in touch and we’ll factor your format in.
How do I get a dealer account?
Register and choose “Dealer” as your account type. If you already registered as a buyer or private seller, contact us and we’ll switch your account over.
